Reflecting the eclecticism of the hotel’s interior, Here Design's branding scheme draws on the heritage of its location: Braemar, Scotland. Energetic and playful, the logo takes on a multitude of typographic forms. These are translated across miscellanea ranging from walking maps to luggage labels, matchbooks to room books, and even delicately engraved egg scissors. Keys for the 46 themed bedrooms come in intricately illustrated books, forming a colourful library in reception that's packed with unique details about the characters who have shaped the history of the hotel and the surrounding area. Eschewing the popular trend for pared-back, neutral branding, The Fife Arms revels in its idiosyncrasies, weaving a rich tapestry from authentic Scottish heritage, craftsmanship and local community.
