Dr. SK Sharma is a digital innovator and senior AI executive with over a decade of leadership experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, and intellectual property.
In 2016, Ingrooves recruited SK to build and lead the industry’s first Insights & Analytics team. Today, Ingrooves’ global team of Ph.D. data scientists continue to develop proprietary methods alongside innovative, AI-powered products and services that drive real-time generation of actionable insights (e.g., engagement, audience growth, marketing analytics).
Prior to joining the executive team at Ingrooves, SK was CTO and subsequently Chief Innovation Officer at Patent Licensing International, a €120M venture capital fund (acquired by LIVIA Group). In his past roles as VP and Partner at the Mitchell Madison Group and OC&C Strategy Consultants, SK led successful engagement for Fortune 500 CEOs in corporate strategy and M&A, in addition to spinning off a customer and marketing analytics and insights practice (acquired in 2013).
SK is the co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in the computational sciences, and continues to be an invited speaker and panelist at AI conferences and summits around the world.
SK earned a Ph.D. in Computational/Theoretical Chemical Physics and Physical Chemistry at Caltech at the age of 23.
