The countdown is on for our fantastic line-up of children’s authors to come together on

Saturday 16 July, 2022 at the prestigious and iconic London location, The British Library.

Featuring your favourite authors, live on stage, this event will spark your inspiration and imagination.

Whether it's becoming the hero of your favourite book, or experiencing all kinds of amazing places, reading really is a superpower!

SHARNA JACKSON: THE GOOD TURN 10.30am - 11.15am

Join award-winning author, Sharna Jackson, as she discusses her intriguing new mystery adventure, including the historical inspiration behind the book, how you can be inspired to care for your community – plus learn how to write and solve your very own mystery!

ELLE MCNICOLL, PETER BUNZL, CERRIE BURNELL & JOSEPH COELHO: THE GREAT FAIRYTALE DEBATE 2:45pm - 3:30pm

 Join four authors of spellbinding magical stories -- Peter Bunzl, Magicborn, Cerrie Burnell, Wilder than Midnight, Joseph Coelho, Fairytales Gone Bad and award-winning author, Elle McNicoll, Like a Charm -- for this enchanting event. Together, they'll be debating which is the greatest fairytale of them all...

M.G LEONARD & SAM SEDGMAN: ADVENTURES ON TRAINS, 11:30am -12.30am

All aboard the fifth book in the award-winning series from 
M.G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman! Join the best-selling authors on stage as they bring to life Adventures on Trains: Sabotage on the Solar Express, a thrilling and hugely entertaining adventure story. Hear how the duo started their love for writing children's books together, as well as the inspiration behind the book. 

ROB BIDDULPH: DRAW WITH ROB 9.30am - 10.15am

Hear from award-winning author and illustrator, Rob Biddulph in this exciting, interactive masterclass, and learn how to draw with his easy step-by-step instructions! This fun session will include a live draw-a-long that the whole family can get involved in!

PHIL EARLE & EMMA CARROLL: EXPLORING THE PAST 12.45pm - 1:30pm

Join two amazing authors - Phil Earle, winner of the British Book Awards Children's Fiction Book of the Year 2022, and 'Queen of Historical Fiction', Emma Carroll - for an fascinating journey into the past. You'll find out all about their latest books, While the Storm Rages, and Escape to the River Sea, and discover how history inspires their writing.
