Izzy Burton is an award-winning Director and Artist working in animation and illustration. In 2018 she was named on of Animation Magazine’s ‘Rising Stars of Animation” for her work as a Director on her first short film “Via”, which went on to be long-listed for the Best British Animated Short Film BAFTA. Izzy went freelance in Summer 2019 after working for 4 years at Blue Zoo Animation in London where she helped create and direct many projects including Directing “A Whale’s Tale” for Cartoon Network and Hope Works which is nominated for a Children’s BAFTA. She is currently working with Passion Pictures, Troublemakers.tv, Egmont, Penguin Random House, Macmillan US, Oxford University Press and more. Emotive and poetic storytelling is key to all of Izzy’s work, whether in film or publishing, and bringing a sense of authenticity and realness that the audience can relate to, so they can invest in the characters.
