The Horse & Hound Awards celebrate the very best in equestriansim. The judging panel is formed of members of the Horse & Hound team plus at least one independent judge. The panel will be influenced by the number of nominations and the strength of the story of the nominee’s dedication and achievement.

Our panel of judges will select a shortlist, which will then be open to a public vote from 29 October until 5 November.

The winning horse will be named at the virtual H&H Awards ceremony on 2 December.

This award is to celebrate the organisations that bring riders together and best supports them in achieving their goals – changing riders’ experiences for the better.

Please submit your nomination for an equestrian club that has built a supportive community and helped riders of all levels get the most out of their passion. Our panel of judges will select a shortlist, which will then be open to a public vote from 29 October to 5 November. The winning club will be named at the virtual H&H Awards ceremony on 2 December.

This award is to recognise brilliant ponies – from those who have over the past 10 years been adored by multiple families for safely introducing their children to riding, to competition ponies who have won numerous championships or medals, to those special smaller equines whose therapy work has helped people overcome physical or mental challenges. We are looking for the pony who has, through their actions, earned respect and adoration, and so deserves to be heralded pony of the decade.

This award is to honour the greatest riders of our age, who are heroes among their rivals and an inspiration to the rest of us, and whose skill and talent is a blessing for their horses and our sport. We are looking for a rider who has either achieved or maintained greatness in the past 10 years, and who has excelled and demonstrated superb horsemanship during that time.

This award is to celebrate those brilliant grooms without whom the equestrian industry would grind to a halt. Their dedication, skill, sheer work ethic and love of horses shows in the incredible care they provide for their charges day and night.

This award is to recognise the sacrifice made by those wonderful volunteers who enable countless others to enjoy their horses, sport or profession week in, week out, through their incredible dedication and selfless actions.
