We're delighted to announce that L-Acoustics founder and president Christian Heil will receive the Outstanding Contribution award for the 2018 Pro Sound Awards. 

Christian commented the following when interviewed about the achievement: “I’m deeply touched and honoured by this recognition. This award is shared with many, including the exceptional musicians and performers who have captivated and inspired me, sparking the desire to develop pragmatic solutions to serve the live sound industry.”

Christian has consistently pushed the boundaries of sound reinforcement. His pioneering work in the field of line array design set new standards in the world of live and integrated sound, while the company’s ground-breaking work in the field of immersive audio with its L-ISA system has opened up new audio dimensions in events and installations across the globe. L-Acoustic systems were recently deployed at the BBC Proms concert at the Royal Albert Hall, while alt-J recently became the first rock band to utilise an L-ISA system at Forest Hills Stadium.
